Temperature tests for product qualification and validation
On this page you can find a series of temperature tests which have been performed to analyze and validate the thermal performances of the Temax insulation material. The tests have been conducted in various test circumstances depending on the test requirements and specifications. These tests have been performed by Krautz-Temax and customers.
Testing norm EN-12546-2
When temperature tests are performed by Krautz-Temax, the test load will have a set-up according to norm EN-12546-2. Yet, if wanted, we can perform test-loads according to specific load configurations. Additional tests were performed with 8% product mass to create a hard stress tests. Theses stress tests are available in PDF file on email request.
CE-label - repetition test - Product Stability Test
The goal of a repetition test is to determine the product stability when a passive cooling is used to preserve the temperature of time-temperature products. The Temax repetition test was performed by our customer, a chemical company, who tested three older Temax insulation foils and three new insulation foils.
The results of these six test profiles have shown a minimal deviation on all six temperature flows. This test was performed with the Temax CE-certified insulation material Temax-4000.
Customer validation tests
The temperature tests below are performed by customers. The Temax products are tested and validated by some of the biggest pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, yet due to NDA agreements, these test results may not be published. Below you can find an overview of test results which we may share.
